Oluwole started his career with Guinea Insurance Company Limited and has successfully taken on various senior roles in the Insurance industry. Wole, as he is fondly referred to was the Pioneer Head of the Upstream Team at GT Assurance and was responsible for the development and successful establishment of the Energy sector at Oceanic Insurance, where he eventually became responsible for Sales Development. Prior to these roles, Wole was an integral part of the Alternative market team at Cornerstone Insurance with responsibilities in Financial Institutions and Corporate Markets. He also had a successful stint at Regency Insurance Company where he distinguished himself by surpassing set objectives. Wole joined Old Mutual General Insurance Company Limited in December 2014 as part of the pioneer team in the General Business and leads Corporate Sales with responsibility for growing the corporate revenue streams, managing Brokers and Core Clients.
Wole holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Master’s in Diplomacy and Strategic studies, University of Lagos. He is an Associate Member, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers. He is an alumnus of the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa and is happily married with children. He is an avid reader, mentor to young adults and a budding theologian who enjoys providing contextual application through teaching.
